Your ticket grants you entry to the tasting session specified on your ticket. All food and beverage exhibitors will be running tastings throughout the session and all tastings are included in your ticket price.

X’Pert Tickets:

A guaranteed 10% discount on any on-the-day purchases
A premium collectible take-home cocktail glass
A luxury tote bag for take-home bottle purchases. Additional bags can be purchased at the event.
Entry to the Tapas lounge for complimentary nibbles and snacks
Under 18:
Nobody under the age of 18years will be allowed permission to entry, whether they have a ticket or not. Anyone denied entry, due to age, will have their ticket refunded at the discretion of the Event Organiser.
Intoxicated Persons:
It is illegal for intoxicated patrons to remain onsite at the Event. At the sole discretion of the Duty Manager named at the entrance, if the ticket holder is deemed to be showing signs of intoxication, and that the outcome of a wellness assessment is that the ticket holder must leave the premises, no refunds will be given, regardless of the time spent at the event.
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. No food or beverages may be taken into the event. Empty water bottles may be refilled inside the event grounds from the free water stations. If you have a strict food allergy and need to bring your own food in, you can email glenda@gcevents.co.nz to receive an exemption.
2. Event Organisers take no responsibility for personal possessions brought to the event, including in vehicles in the car park area.
3. The event is an all-weather event, held indoors and will take place regardless (unless the event organiser determines otherwise in its absolute discretion).
4. In the event of fire, earthquake, flooding, pandemic and/or any other circumstances that, in the Event Organisers or Venue Staff’s opinion, makes the holding of the event unsafe or inaccessible, or because of circumstances outside the event organisers control, the event can be postponed or cancelled, without refund. Postponement will always be the first option explored and, in the case of postponement, all tickets purchased will transfer to the new date for the event at no cost to the ticket holder.
5. Except where required by law, there will be no refund of any event tickets or for any unused portion of an event ticket. This includes, but is not limited to, where there has been a variation to the event, if you are refused entry to or evicted from the venue by the event organiser or venue staff in accordance with the event terms, if you fail to attend the event, if you arrive after the commencement of the event, or if you leave the venue prior to the conclusion of the event.
6. Dogs and domestic pets are not permitted inside the event unless a service animal.
7. By purchasing an event ticket, you are accepting that you will adhere to all government regulations around any pandemics (including COVID-19) relating to events and large gatherings. Should you breach these government regulations, we have the right to refuse admission or remove you from the premises without delay.
8. Exhibitors may be subject to change.
9. Right of Admission Reserved – In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests the Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission and refund the ticket value.
10. Admission is at Ticket Holders own risk. The Event Organiser will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at this event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons attending the event or the venue.
11. A condition of entry to the festival is ticket holders consenting to being filmed and/or photographed for use in television, video, social media or printed promotional material.
12. The Ticket Holder consents to and will permit the search and inspection of his or her person, clothing, bags or other possessions by any official, employee of the proprietor of the venue and/or the organizer of the event.
13. All tickets purchased through Flicket are subject to a booking fee, and any credit card processing fees.
14. The ticket holder may be required to provide proof of age upon arrival at the Event. This must take the form of one of the following types of identification: A HANZ Card, a New Zealand Drivers License, New Zealand or Foreign Passport
15. The Ticket Holder will be required to leave the venue if he or she: Engages in conduct which unreasonably interferes with the enjoyment of the event by the patrons; hampers or impedes the conduct of the event; breaches any by-laws or orders applicable to the venue
16. Ticket Holders agree that it is an essential condition of issuance of Tickets and the right of admission to the event conferred on the Ticket Holder that any person at, or entering, or attempting to enter, the Venue is expressly prohibited from: a. Holding or bringing any prohibited or restricted items (to be assessed at the discretion of the security and event organisers) including, without limitation; alcohol; illicit drugs; knives; weapons; fireworks; glass; cans; bottles; compressed gas containers; political, religious, offensive or race-related banners, signs, slogans or materials; flares; air horns; sound amplifiers including loudhailers; toy guns or water pistols; smoke bombs and flag sticks; commercial standard recording devices; dogs or other pets; laser pointers; skateboards, roller blades, scooters or bicycles; or items that may interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of other persons or security at the Venue (“Prohibited Items”); b. Engaging in disruptive or dangerous behaviour including, without limitation; throwing, casting, thrusting or firing any objects; instigating violence, racism or xenophobia; behaving in a way that others may interpret as provocative, threatening, discriminatory, or offensive; creating any threat to the life or safety of themselves or others, or harming another person in any way whatsoever.
18. No pass outs apply, if you opt to leave the Event at any stage you will not be permitted to return into the venue.
19. Any purchases made at the event must remain in the provided tote bag. Be aware that the venue could be in an Alcohol Ban area, therefore the ticket holder must not open of any alcohol purchases until they have left the Alcohol Ban area.
19. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in any areas of the Event grounds. We are proudly a smoke and vape free event.
20. In the event of injury or illness the Event Organiser or Venue Staff may, at your expense, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed necessary or advisable (in the opinion of the event organiser or venue staff) for your health and safety, or for the health and safety of other persons at the event.
21. Please be respectful of the environment and venue and place any litter in the recycle or other bins provided around the venue. You must not damage, improperly use, or tamper with any property or facility at the venue, or intentionally or recklessly cause any damage or interference to plants or animals at the venue or in the area surrounding the venue.
